COSTUMES
In addition to his independent work, an important chapter in Jan Pištěk’s career around the turn of the millennium was his costume design for theatre productions staged at the National Theatre. Notably, he contributed to the unique projects of the Forman Brothers’ Theatre, especially the ship Tajemství, as well as to various productions for the National Theatre. He also collaborated with his father, Theodor Pištěk, on large-scale American film productions shot in the Czech Republic, as well as on epic Czech musicals.
